New stories haven't yet been filtered by community voting, so you'll see everything as it's posted.
Best Stories highlight content that has demonstrated lasting value and quality. This curated feed uses Hacker News' ranking algorithm to identify submissions that have earned sustained community approval, making it perfect for finding high-quality articles and discussions without wading through everything.
Retrieving Stories

Each story returned includes essential information: the title, URL to the original content, author username, submission time, current score (upvotes), and the number of comments.
